How to apply for the Hong Kong Safety Mark?

Manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers, brand-owners and other parties supplying products in Hong Kong or other regions could apply the Mark by the following procedures: 

1. Submit the completed application form with specific product information and a copy of Business Registration Certificate  ;
   
2. HKCC issues Certification proposal;
   
3. Submit sample(s) to HKCC for testing;
   
4. HKCC conducts factory inspection, if necessary;
   
5. HKCC issues the Hong Kong Safety Mark License;
   
6. HKCC arranges annual routine surveillance.
